Closing Date until filled Job Title PRODUCTION WORKER - DAYS Location(s) San Marcos Work Schedule Monday-Friday, 5A-3PM Hours Per Week 40+ hours; Full Time Job Duties The PRODUCTION WORKER - assist in the production processes within the plant such as machine operations, general clean up, back-fill production and sanitation supplies as needed, complete all tasks as assigned by management . Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Follow company employee guidelines and GMP protocols. Strictly adhere to company sanitation standards and commit to Team First attitude of integrity. - Assist plant personnel with general house cleaning in accordance with the company GMP's . Regular housekeeping duties to include cleaning and restocking employee work areas, and all duties as assigned. - Ensure paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, accurate format and ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's. - Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management. - Excellent attendance and punctuality. - Must be physically able to lift up to 55lbs on occasion . - Have the ability to adapt to change in regards to operational responsibilities. - May work in a cold environment which averages 35 degrees Fahrenheit. May work outdoors. - Requires the ability to speak and understand English. - Heavy labor experience in a similar environment is preferred. Physical Requirements Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is constantly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop. The employee must regularly push, pull; lift and/or move up to 55 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment Work Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to cold, wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
