Hycor is hiring Research Associates!
Research Associates need a broad range of skills and is likely to be defined by a breadth of knowledge rather than a depth of knowledge. These skills are likely to include software, mechanical systems, fluidics, biochemistry, software, and hardware engineering, and general problem solving skills. It is likely that the problems to be solved have not been solved before except in the broadest sense. They are likely to include new and challenging problems with an input from a broad range of technical inputs "pulls it all together."
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare reagents
• Carry out maintenance of instrument
• Prep racks and put runs on instrument
• Initiate/write and follow study protocols
• Write reports/Lab Notebooks
• Present Data
• May still need support from other team members to carry out above activities
  EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  
  • BS or more Biological sciences, chemistry, or physics
  • 0-2 years of industry experience
    SKILLS/ABILITIES:
    
    • Excellent interpersonal, organizational as well as verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong technical and analytical abilities including DOE, and statistical analysis
    • Worked with Microsoft Windows Office tools and statistical modeling packages (Minitab, JMP, Excel) is a plus
