Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove is looking to hire Early Childhood Program Staff - Assistant Teachers and Early Head Start Staff - Teacher Assistant and Teacher

We have a variety of Early Childhood Program Staff and Early Head Start Staff openings such as:



Assistant Teacher

Under the supervision of a Teacher and Associate Teacher, responsible for supervising a group of children, 12 months to 12 years of old; assisting in the planning, organizing, and conducting the daily program activities.



Schedule/Pay

Part Time, 15-29 hours/week, excluding recess periods

M-F, occasional evening hours

$16.00/hour



Teacher Assistant

Under the supervision of Lead Teacher and Teacher, responsible for supervising a group of children, 12 months to 3 years old. Assist in planning, organizing, and conducting the daily program activities.



Schedule/Pay

Full Time, 30+hours/week, excluding recess periods

M-F, occasional evening hours

Starting at $18.00/hour + comprehensive benefits



Qualifications

12 completed college units including Child Development, Child, Family & Community and Program/Curriculum units

Obtains Child Development Associate Teacher Permit

3 college units in Infant/Toddler

50 days of 3+hr/day of teaching experience (in appropriate age group) within 2 years at the Licensed Child Care



Teacher

Under the supervision of a Lead Teacher, responsible for supervising a group of children, 12 months to 3 years old. Plan, organize, conduct, and evaluate the daily program activities. Communicate with the parents of the children and supervise EHS Assistant Teachers.



Schedule/Pay

Full Time, 30+hours/week, excluding recess periods

M-F, occasional evening hours

Starting at $20.07/hour + comprehensive benefits



Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development

Obtains Child Development Teacher Permit

3 units of ECE/CD field experience (in appropriate age group)

3 college units in Infant/Toddler
