Job Description






Position Summary:We are looking for a skilledMachine Operatorto perform a variety of Machine Operations such as,grinding,punch press,thread/form roll,metal wash,andcutt - off.A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should havewillingness to learn and improve. Being ais essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workersThe goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly tomaximize efficiency and profits.ResponsibilitiesSet up machines(calibration, cleaning etc.) tostart a production cycleControl and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machinesInspect parts with precision and measuring toolsTest operation of machines periodicallyFix issues that might occur during the shiftCheck output to spotany machine-related mistakes or flawsKeep records of approved and defective units or final productsMaintain activity logsRequirements and skillsProven experience as amachine operatorWorking knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)Understanding of production proceduresAdherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manualsAnalytical skillsAttention to detailTeamwork and communication skillsPhysical stamina and strengthHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plusPhysical and Mental Demands:

• Ability to move between multiple machines while maintaining safety and quality
• Physical ability to handle various tools
• Will need to stand/walk for 8+ hours a day
• Will need to operate machinery
• Reach/handle activities at various levels: knee, waist, shoulder, overhead

          For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $17.50 to $18.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
