Description:Machine Shop in Garden Grove, CA looking for a CNC Lathe Operator for their 2nd shift (1:30pm-10:00pm). Training will be provided so great opportunity to grow machining career. Will be Operating a Mori Seki 2 Axis CNC Lathe. Following work instructionsLong Run ProductionQuality checks--- Set-up, operate, and edit CNC Lathe, monitoring and adjusting settings to reach desired tolerances. --- Mill machine operators must have wide-ranging experience in using these tools --- Knowledge of the minor upkeep and repair practices for these tools is also important. --- Inspect products to determine conformance to blueprint specifications. --- Observe and maneuver equipment to produce desired products and ensure safety. --- Read and interpret drawings to determine necessary work steps, operational sequences, and tolerances. --- Trim tread within specified tolerance on drawing. --- Clean and organize work area. --- Detailed log of all tasks and times. --- May be called upon to assist with stripping of hubs also.Skills:machine operating, lathe, Cnc, Machining, G and M Codes, Machine Shop, Inspection, Blueprint, trimmingTop Skills Details:machine operating,lathe,Cnc,Machining,G and M CodesAdditional Skills & Qualifications:--- CNC Lathe experience operating --- They are open to new NTMA graduates (or similar trade schools) --- Know G codes and M Codes--- Some computer skills (Office, Word, Excel)--- Good attitude and people skills--- Good listener--- Able to keep a calm, professional demeanor at all times--- Good mechanical and aptitude skills--- Ability to think logically and orderly--- Willing to keep an open mind and to objectively accept and deliver constructive criticism--- Willingness and ability to learn and adapt to ever-changing situations--- Self-starter able to recognize the need for, develop, and implement new processes as required to improve the efficiency of the companyMust be able to lift up to 40 lbsExperience Level:Entry Level About Aerotek: We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
