Job Description:

We are looking for a Hotel Front Desk Supervisor to serve as our guests' first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. Hotel Front Desk Supervisor responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, as a supervisor you will be a role model, sharing your expertise and continually inspiring the front office team. Responsibilities Supervise the operations of the front desk to ensure an optimal level of service and hospitality is provided to the guests. Perform all check-in and check-out tasks Manage online and phone reservations Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay) Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner Maintain updated records of bookings and payments Build strong relationships and liaise with all other department's - housekeeping, reservations and other staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs Skills Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role A minimum of two years hotel front desk experience and one year supervisory/management experience is required. Experience with hotel reservations software, like Opera Customer service attitude Excellent communication and organizational skills Degree in hotel management is a plus LANGUAGE ABILITY: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. AVAILABILITY : The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and associates may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: From $18.00 per hourSchedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Holidays Overtime Weekend availabilityWork Location: One location
