Entry Level Chemist - Garden Grove, CA Shift: Tues-Fri from 1PM-10PM Sat from 830AM-530PM--Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis of environmental samples soil and water samples according to SOPs. Prepare and submit accurate analytical reports in a timely manner.
• Calibrate and operate analytical instruments to analyze samples correctly and promptly.
• Prepares analytical standards and reagents used in the analysis of environmental samples.
• Record and update instruments run logs and maintenance logbook.
• Prepare analytical standards and solutions used in the analysis.
• Perform MDL, LOD/LOQ studies, and other QC requirements.Requirements:
  • BS degree in Chemistry or Environmental Science
  • 0-2 years of laboratory experience
  • Academic lab experience and/or some science background preferable
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, and possess a positive attitude.
