Job Description:
Vituity, a leader in healthcare management services, is seeking
an experienced Medical Director to oversee the clinical,
administrative, and strategic direction of our medical services
across various disciplines including emergency medicine, hospital
medicine, critical care, anesthesiology, and acute psychiatry. The
successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing our mission
of improving care delivery through impactful leadership and
clinical excellence. Direct and oversee the medical operations in
collaboration with healthcare teams across various facilities.
Develop and implement clinical programs and policies that promote
company goals and improve patient care services. Lead quality
assurance efforts to maintain the highest standards of care and
compliance with all relevant regulations. Manage the recruitment,
development, and evaluation of staff to ensure a competent
workforce to meet the needs of the population served. Collaborate
with other healthcare leaders to innovate and implement best
practices in patient care. Provide expert consultation on complex
medical cases and maintain oversight of case management. Prepare
and manage the departmental budget to ensure financial
sustainability. Act as a spokesperson for the organization's
medical agenda in public forums, meetings, and to the board of
directors. Proven leadership and management skills in a healthcare
setting. Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making
skills. In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and medical
practices. Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams efficiently
under high-stress conditions. Proficiency in managing budgets and
producing reports that reflect financial and operational metrics.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
401k Board Certification in a relevant medical specialty. Valid
state medical licensure. Additional qualifications in healthcare
administration or related fields are preferred.
