Job Description:
A company is looking for a Clinical Pathologist to diagnose
diseases in companion and laboratory animals.
Key Responsibilities
Describe and interpret cytologic preparations and generate
pathology narrative reports
Consult with Veterinarians regarding diseases detected in samples
and provide medical second opinions
Stay current on veterinary practices and participate in quality
control and pathology rounds
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent
Diplomat of American College of Veterinary Pathologists
Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the respective
state
Previous experience in a lab environment is a plus
Familiarity with Dragon software and Dicom viewers is a plus
