Job Description:
You will be the Structural Dynamics Engineer for the Advanced
Development Program (ADP) which is responsible for cutting?edge
aerospace research and development. What You Will Be Doing As the
Structural Dynamics Engineer you will be responsible for conducting
flutter analyses and supporting dynamic testing for advanced
aircraft concepts. You will work within a highly technical team
that drives innovation in structural dynamics. Your
responsibilities will include: Conduct structural dynamics analyses
and assess aircraft modifications, including nonlinear explicit
dynamics. Provide assistance to other structural dynamics
disciplines such as dynamic response and dynamic loads/buffet.
Support flutter ground vibration test and flight test activities.
Document flutter analysis results, ground and flight test plans,
and outcomes. Coordinate with internal Integrated Product Teams
(IPTs) and interact with external IPTs and suppliers. What’s In It

position is located at a facility that requires special access. The
selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to
start. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in an engineering
technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aerospace, or Aeronautical
Engineering - Experience making/updating Finite Element Models
(FEM) in ABAQUS/CAE (useful to know Patran, Hypermesh, FEMAP, or
similar) - Experience with developing vibration environments for
aircraft (Mission Based Analysis) and maintaining Environment
Criteria Documents (ECD) - Experience with vibroacoustic and data
processing - Proficient in scripting language (MatLab, Python, VBA,
C++, etc.) - Experience leading a team as a technical lead Desired
skills - Experience with running and interpreting
ABAQUS-equivalents to Modal Analysis (SOL103), Random Vibration
(SOL111), Transient Analysis (SOL112), Non-linear analysis
(SOL106/400) - Subsystem qualification experience (vendor testing,
interpreting previous qualification data and making assessment to
current predicted environments, delta qual, etc.) - Experience with
structural analysis for preliminary sizing - Excellent written and
verbal communication skills - Ability to collaborate in a

Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with
this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports
a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a
government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for
consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this
position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most
major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland,
Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is
$104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
location. Please note that the salary information is a general
guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not
limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's
work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market
and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits

and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented

to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for

incentive plan eligible. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for
this position in most major metropolitan areas in California,
Massachusetts, and New York is $120,100 - $208,150. For states not
referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect
