Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
full-time, onsite position offers the opportunity to serve as a
school psychologist at a middle school in La Mesa, NM, covering the
2025-2026 school year through the end of May, with the possibility
of extended services through June for ESY. The role includes heavy
therapy responsibilities, administering re-evaluations, and
providing crisis intervention support. Candidates must hold New
Mexico state licensure, with preference for Level 2 or 3 licensure;
Level 1 licensure will be considered. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
therapeutic services to support student mental health and
well-being Conduct psychological re-evaluations in compliance with
district guidelines Provide effective crisis intervention when
necessary Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
to develop appropriate interventions Support continuity of services
during the current psychologists FMLA absence and beyond
Qualifications: Valid New Mexico state licensure for school
psychologists; Level 2 or 3 preferred Experience working in middle
school settings with diverse student populations Strong skills in
therapy, crisis intervention, and psychological assessment Ability
to work onsite and travel between campuses as needed (travel time
compensated) Commitment to remaining in the position for the full
school year assignment Location and Work Environment:Situated in
southern New Mexico, La Mesa offers a beautiful setting with close
