The Omniseal Solutions division under the Mobility business is looking for an Assistant Site Controller to join the Saint-Gobain team.The Assistant Site Controller will help the Site Controller to coordinate, perform and consolidating the annual budget, RF1 and RF3 forecast, strategic plan process at the site and providing accurate explanations of significant variances, including analysis of actual vs. prior year, budget and/or forecast. Focus on timely month-end results/reporting, attention to detail is an absolute must, providing factual data in order to quickly identify problem areas.They must be a person in the field, regularly in the plant to understand the different stages of the process and be close to the operational managers in order to provide them with the details required to improve their costs.Month-end close in QAD, DSS inputs, reconciliations/upload to Blackline (preparer roles), coordinating & preparing internal financial reporting (Monthly GM report - Operational analysis of scrap, MUV, PPV, labor & overhead cost/variances, Inventory analysis, weekly Report at the local level, etc.).Help the Site Controller to establishing and maintaining updated the annual completion of the ICRF gap analysis & ensure the execution of action plans, adherence - Segregation of Duties, system/access controls are in place. Evaluate site internal controls (review of Mobility/LS/HPS policies, purchasing authorities, etc. to ensure alignment with internal controls). Assessing current accounting processes, offering recommendations for improvement, and implementing new innovative processes.Support the Site Controller during annual plan, budget & standard cost development process. Proactively interact with supervisors, plant leadership team to ensure all parties have a clear and accurate picture of the plant's overall financial performance. Proactively researching issues - anticipating opportunities and providing answers & insight to key questions before they are asked. Analyzing the Cost variances with operational managers.Support WCM initiatives (participation in Kaizens, problem-solving events) ensuring countermeasures, projects are defined with clear financial objectives & results are tracked and reported accordingly. Check that the saving precalculated by the engineers are reliable.Supporting Internal & External Auditors demands.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university (Required).Master's degree in Accounting or Finance. (Preferred)Minimum 4+ years of Cost Accounting, Controller experience. (Required)Minimum 4+ years of financial/Operational Analyst experience. (Preferred)Certified Public Accountant (CPA) 5-10 years. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the local pay range for this position, which is $77,400 to $120,100 annual salary. This pay range offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to the salary base, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of salary base rate on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Salary Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs/week 52wks for this position, is $85,100 to $132,100. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
